Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21, 1983) is a well-known American actor. Most notably, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents divorced to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. She was struggling to survive when she got her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's lead character. The actress was able to secure a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford, a character she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was nominated for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the show in order to focus on her film career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) as Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. She reprised her role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon on the final episode and two other episodes. In 2013, she was in the sixth season of Californication. The role she plays is Faith, a groupie who is a muse for the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career in the teen years with minor appearances in her father's films and appeared together with her brother in popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) of which earned their Golden Globe Award nods. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. The film was nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress due to her part as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). Then she was in comedies and dramas which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Other characters include as a secret agent of the Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a vocalist in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the lead character. Gyllenhaal was the writer and director of her first film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The Lost Daughter was also nominated for the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
