Aisling Bea
Aisling B a was born 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. Bea, who began appearing as part of the cast in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career as an stand-up comic in 2011. Bea began performing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In 2012, she began appearing on panel shows after winning an award for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 through 2017, she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant in the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. In 2012 she won the So You Think You're Funny Award twice. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born girl. She was born the 16th of March, 1984. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was an equine veterinary. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death away until she turned 13. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. Their family was passionate about horses and races. In her youth Bea was a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
